ChenMed's Aubrey Liem Honored with Excellence In Human Resources Award From South Florida Business & Wealth

Magazine Honors the Human Resources Executive During Virtual Awards Program

Aubrey Liem, regional director of human resources for ChenMed, is the recipient of a 2021 Excellence in Human Resources Award from South Florida Business & Wealth magazine. She was honored during a virtual awards ceremony held March 17, 2021.

South Florida Business & Wealth’s Excellence in Human Resources awards honor human professionals in the accounting, banking and finance services, education, health care, hospitality, insurance, legal, marketing and public relations, real estate and construction, technology and transportation, and logistics industries. Ms. Liem was selected from a pool of her peers in the health care industry for her accomplishments at ChenMed.

“The Excellence in Human Resources award program celebrates the region’s outstanding HR professionals who build and nurture the talent within their organizations,” said Gary Press, chairman of South Florida Business & Wealth. “We are excited to recognize individuals such as Aubrey who mold and develop the personnel who help raise companies to the top of their industries.”

Prior to being promoted to the regional human resources director position at ChenMed, Ms. Liem served as senior human resources business partner for the company, which is one of the largest providers of primary care for Medicare Advantage eligible, underserved seniors in 10 states.

“I am honored to be recognized by South Florida Business & Wealth magazine,” Ms. Liem said. “My experiences at ChenMed have afforded me opportunities to expand my scope of responsibility, grow and lead a team of talented senior human resources business partners across multiple states, while also playing a key role in talent acquisition, management and development.”

According to Kristofer Cooper, vice president of human resources market operations at ChenMed, “Aubrey is most deserving of this award, and we are extremely proud that she has been recognized with this honor.”
