Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Care, Say Salomon, MD, brings passion and purpose to his national role as Chief Medical Officer, Hospital and Community Care, at ChenMed, one of the country’s leading primary care providers. Dr. Salomon is a leading advocate in the advancement of affordable, high-quality, VIP primary and specialty care that transforms the health of seniors in the neediest populations. He also is a respected thought leader in the development of safe and equitable healthcare delivery models for patients with chronic illness who need of palliative medicine and/or home-based care.

At ChenMed, Dr. Salomon has served as the Associate Director of Palliative Medicine; Medical Director of Acute and Transitional Care for the ChenMed Senior Medical Center in Broward County (FL); and National Medical Director of Acute and Post-Acute Care. In his current role, he supports ChenMed’s acute and post-acute care coordination efforts nationally ensuring best practices and standards of care are in place with an emphasis on cost-efficient and quality-centered health care delivery.

Dr. Salomon completed his Internal Medicine training at NYU-Langone Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in 2014, and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 2015. He also holds a Bioethics and Humanities Certificate from the Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, and a Certified Trainer Certificate for Education in Palliative and End of Life Care (EPEC) from the prestigious Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Salomon has worked as a palliative medicine attending and hospitalist in multiple academic settings before joining Chen Med in 2017.

During his distinguished career, Dr. Salomon has received numerous honors, including the Exemplary Service Award for Palliative Medicine Service from the Montefiore Medical Center, as well as being voted by his peers as the Best Subspecialist for Broward County.

Dr. Salomon enjoys teaching and mentoring upcoming and future leaders in healthcare. He is a frequent presenter and has had several articles published in per-reviewed journals. Dr. Salomon is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
